Agnes Flanagan Chapel, Lewis & Clark College

615 SW Palatine Hill Rd., Portland, OR 97219

Lewis & Clark College’s Agnes Flanagan Chapel is an ideal performance venue for chamber music with excellent acoustics and comfortable seating that partially surrounds the stage for a very intimate musical experience. Designed by prominent Pacific Northwest architect Paul Thiry, the distinctive octagonal building echoes our region’s heritage with warm, natural woodwork and outdoor sculptures by Chief Lelooska, a renowned artist and cultural figure of Cherokee descent who had ties to several Indigenous tribes. Flanagan chapel is a short distance SW of Downtown Portland—the same distance as Kaul Auditorium at Reed College where we regularly perform—and is fully accessible, with a ground-level entrance and main seating area.
