Jiarong Li
Collaborative Piano Fellow (2026)
Chinese pianist Jiarong Li is committed to continual artistic growth while maintaining sincerity in her music-making. Following her passion, she is an active and experienced collaborative pianist based in New Haven and New York City. Jiarong currently serves as a Collaborative Piano Fellow and Coordinator at the Yale School of Music. She also works at the Bowdoin International Music Festival as a Staff Pianist. She spent summers as a Fellow at Toronto Summer Music Festival, the Music Academy of the West, and the Bowdoin Music Festival, and was the staff accompanist for the Puerto Piano & Strings International Music Festival in 2023.
Currently, Jiarong is pursuing a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano with an assistantship at the Manhattan School of Music, where she studies under John Forconi. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory and studied with Pei-Shan Lee and Bruce Brubaker.
In her free time, Jiarong enjoys running, exploring thrift stores, and supports the concept of sustainable living.
