2007-2008 Encore Series

Chamber Music Northwest announces an expansive series of eight Fall-Winter-Spring concerts in our 2007-2008 Encore Series. We are delighted to present the return of the world-renowned Tallis Scholars, the Zukerman Chamber Players, Opus One, and the Kavafian-Shifrin-Schub Trio. The centerpiece of this year’s series is a groundbreaking mini-festival, the Carter-Messiaen Project, planned around the centenary of two musical icons of the 20th century. The legendary quartet Tashi comes to Portland for these exclusive West coast performances – the ensemble’s first reunion in 30 years.
