These two dynamic young performers team up for an exhilarating recital of sonatas by Bach, Dvorák, Beethoven and Brahms, sure to make sparks fly. The combination of three beloved works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras offers an evening of great musical satisfaction and enjoyment. Cellist Sophie Shao, winner of top prizes at the 2001 Rostropovich Competition and the 2002 Tchaikovsky Competition, performs throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Pianist Pei-Yao Wang, also a competition prize-winner, is in high demand as a collaborative pianist, chamber musician and soloist.
